How do I use Blunder Cover?
Blunder Cover has a unique balm-to-cream texture, designed by a professional makeup artist with an artist-forward approach. Formulated with clean, fragrance-free botanicals and oils, it’s more solid than traditional foundations, so proper skin prep is key.
Start with a clean, moisturized face. Apply Blunder Cover using our Call your Buff Angled Brush for the best finish — though our Hybrid Face Brush, a sponge, fingers, or your favorite tool also works! Buff the
product in circular motions, beginning at the center of your face.
You Can:
- Sheer it out for natural,
light coverage - Build it up for full,
flawless coverage - Use a lighter shade under the
eyes to brighten - Use a deeper shade for
contouring and definition
Blunder Cover is designed for everyday, real-skin wear — not heavy, mask-like coverage.
What are the key ingredients in Blunder Cover?
Our hero ingredients include arnica, edelweiss, and aloe vera — botanicals known to soothe, nourish, and hydrate. They help calm redness, even tone, and leave your skin with a radiant, natural finish.
Is Blunder Cover non-comedogenic?
Yes. We use low- to zero-comedogenic oils like castor, safflower, and sunflower oils — rich in omega-3 fatty acids that support skin barrier health. Combined with soothing botanicals like chamomile, arnica, rosemary, and aloe, our formula helps protect against free radicals while staying breathable and non-clogging.
I picked the wrong shade

Why do you use Microcrystalline Wax?
We consider Microcrystalline Wax (Cera Microcristallina) a “safe synthetic” ingredient, meaning it is synthetic but still safe for your skin and the planet. This specific ingredient is produced during petroleum refinement using specified techniques such as distillation, de-oiling and crystallization. Both Sephora and Credo allow the use of this material on their clean list and Microcrystalline Waxes are non-toxic, non-irritating.
Will you expand the Blunder Cover shade range?
We currently offer 20 shades tested across countless skin tones and undertones. We’re continually developing new hues to ensure everyone finds their perfect match. Share your feedback — we love hearing from you!
How do I clean my Monika Blunder Beauty brushes?
Use a gentle brush cleaner or mild shampoo:
- Wet your brush.
- Swirl it in soap on your palm until bubbles turn white.
- Rinse thoroughly and gently reshape the bristles.
- Lay flat with the bristles hanging over the counter’s edge — never upright.
For best results, clean your personal brushes after every 1–2 uses.
How should I clean product packaging?
Wipe the compact, tube or jar gently with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid submerging the product in water. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
